Draa Field Park - an activity review.
I have found an empty gem of a park. There are ducks and wetland birds and manicured gardens and a terrific paved path and the key is that the place is deserted so I can avoid people like the plague they are.
The Water Hyacinths!
OOH Dang! Just learned these things are a pain in the ass - check it out:
That sucks because they are GORGEOUS.
Here's a nice video I found about the park that features the very friendly ducks.
The ducks are Muscovy Ducks, here's an overview of what they're about:
I don't have any pictures that I have taken of these ducks. Yet. We're going to visit this place like 3 times a week.
Discovered portrait mode on my new phone!
My son is good company. I'm glad we have a reason to look for things to do and that it feels safer to be outside of the house.
Here's some more history on Draa Field Park.
Draa Field Stormwater & Recreation Park
230 North Dixie Avennue, Titusville
"The Park, with walking & biking trails and beautiful landscaping, serves as a trailhead to the Coast to Coast Trail and the East Central Regional Rail Trail. It has many amenities such as educational kiosks, renovated restrooms, and fountains. Beautiful walk or bike ride around the park with some wildlife to watch."
Dude. Now you are filled in and when you undoubtedly visit cosmopolitan Titusville, you'll know where to avoid because I am there with my kid.
